Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2

This is the eighth and final magical movie about the beloved Wizard Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe. Going into the movie there was so much emotion just knowing that this was the last one. Keep in mind, I have not read the books written by J.K Rowling. That might be the reason I don't know what they are talking about half of the time. I think it worked in my favor that I didn't read the books because I was on the edge of my seat for nearly the entire film.

This one really does tie everything together and give you a bit of everything you ever wanted from a film. It's probably the most exciting, scariest and delightful of all the Harry Potter films. Voldemort, played exquisitely by Ralph Fiennes, might just be the scariest villain character we've seen in a movie. The way he speaks with his flat face even down to the hand gestures it just gives you the creeps when you see him. If you saw the last film then you will know that Harry, Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) are set off on a journey to destroy all of Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Not to give too much away, but they run into some complications along the way. There are plenty of flashbacks with Harry's parents and old friends. They also end up back where all the wizardry started, Hogwarts. This time it's to defend it from Voldemort's army of Death Eaters.

There are also plenty of battle scenes for the ones that thought the first Deathly Hallows was too slow moving. I personally liked both films thinking each one was progressively the best of all the others. There are a lot of new creatures in this one that we don't really get into too much. The pace of the movie must be hyper-speed because 130 minutes felt like nothing.

I was most disappointed that Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) wasn't quite as evil as she was in the previous film. Otherwise, I would say she is up there challenging Voldemort for scariest villain.

In closing, this was an amazing film and by no means should you think twice about seeing it. This will be the classic Harry Potter film that we will always have to look back on. Everything from the special effects to the acting are just better than most any other film ever. It has been a fun ride, but now we say Good-Bye. Thank you Harry.
